J. Lowell Haro, M.D.

Certificate of Added Qualifications in Pain Management

Dr. Haro has been practicing Anesthesiology and Pain Management in Austin since 1980. In 1993, he became the first physician in Austin to achieve board certification in Pain Management through the American Board of Anesthesiology. In 1994, he became the first physician in Austin to practice Pain Management full time and began Pain Management Consultants, PA.

Dr. Haro completed his Anesthesiology and Pain Management training at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. He received his Doctor of Medicine from Louisiana State University School of Medicine, and his Bachelors degree from Tulane University.

Arpan N. Desai, D.O.

Certificate of Added Qualifications in Pain Management

Arpan N. Desai, D.O. joined our practice in the Fall of 2005. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin. Dr. Desai received his professional degree from the University of North Texas Science Center in Fort Worth and completed an anesthesiology residency and a pain medicine fellowship at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Desai is a Diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology and also obtained a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Pain Management in 2007. As an Austin native, he is proud to provide quality care to patients in his community and surrounding areas.

Some of his hobbies include listening to live music, traveling, and personal fitness.

Diana Case, PA-C

A Texas native, Diana Case, PA-C, earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology at Texas A&M University. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Allied Health Science and her Physician Assistant Certificate at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Ms. Case in certified through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

Diana Case has been part of the Pain Management Consultants team since December 2005. Her interests include avid reading, traveling, history and gardening.

Diane Dewan, PA-C

Diane Dewan, PA-C received her undergraduate degree from the University of Norte Dame and her Bachelor’s Degree of Science and Physician Assistant Certificate at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Mrs. Dewan worked in Family Medicine, End Stage Renal Disease, Hemodialysis, Peritoneal Dialysis and Renal Transplant prior to coming to Pain Management Consultants in 1995. She is also certified through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.

Mrs. Dewan is married and the mother of three children. Her outside interests include fitness, travel, tennis, golf, and snow skiing.

 

Rachel Hand, PA-C
